Maria Kint (Founder and Executive Co-Director)

The Founder and Executive Co-Director of the Cultural Development Trust. She has been working in the field of Arts & Culture Management in South Africa for 16 years. She was part of the Actag (Arts & Culture Task Group) process in 1993 and closely watched the change of R.S.A. into a Democracy. For 13 years she has been involved with Moving into Dance/Mophatong, a dance training institution and Professional Dance Company at first as a General and Financial Manager/ Fundraiser and for the last 5 years as a Management/Financial Consultant.

She has been working as a Manager/Consultant in the music field since 1988, first in the Netherlands, and since 1992, in South Africa . She received a Special Life Long Service Acknowledgement from the FNB Dance Umbrella in 2004.Maria kint was amongst the top 100 of 2007 recognized by the Star Newspaper.She ranked number 8 under the Arts Category.

Nzali Jordan (Executive Co-Director)

She joined the organisation as a Training Manager in August 2006. She has a strong business foundation with over 10 years experience in corporate sector. She has worked in a number of different sectors like your Financial Institutions, Public and Private Sector, Educational Institutions.

Nzali has been involved in all aspects of Marketing Management, but for the past few years, Nzali has been working in the field of training. She acquired skills and expertise when working for Educational Institutes in Gauteng . Nzali has been involved in training, strategic and project management as well as quality management. Nzali brings to the organisation a diverse knowledge and skills base.

Gloria Makxeta (Financial Manager)

She started at Inzalo Dance Theatre Company in Johannesburg then joined The Cultural Development Trust as an Administrator; she now works as the Financial Manager for The Cultural Development Trust. She is in charge of the organisation's bookkeeping and all other admin related duties.

Mandisa Dangazele (Programmes Facilitator)

Mandisa joined the Cultural Development Trust in January 2010. She was trained in Public Relations with Varsity College, Broadcast Journalism through Radio France International, and Developmental Practice for NGO's through the Centre for Developmental Practice. Over the years she has acquired experience in different industries - Communications, Training and Development and for the last 8 years in the Arts & Culture.

Yvonne Ncube (Financial Assistant)

Yvonne joined the organisation in November 2007 as the receptionist, she then went on to complete our Arts and Culture Administration Hivos Workshop in 2008 and now works as the financial Assistant, she assists with the organisation's book keeping and all other admin related duties.

Samukelisiwe Dlamini (Receptionist)

 She joined the team in August 2009.Samukelisiwe was also part of the Arts in Administration Learnership programme in 2009,after her training she started working for The Cultural Development Trust's as the receptionist.
