Most organisations within arts and culture sector face a shortage qualified / trained administrators and managers and it precisely this reason that The Cultural Development Trust provides training in Arts Administrators and Management. These are tailor made training programmes based on the analysis of skills audit normally performed prior to training. These courses take place in the form of workshops and are followed by mentorship/ coaching programme. The mentorship programmes are a way of ensuring implementation of theory learnt during the workshops. Recipients are mostly previously disadvantaged organisations and artists who have never had access to Arts Administration / Management Training.

The Cultural Development Trust engages in a mentorship programme with funding recipients (mostly organisations). The aim is to enable the organisations to improve their financial management skills so to efficiently administer and accurately report to the satisfaction of the donor. Often this programme is initiated by the funders when funding recipient's financial reporting is inadequate.
